Moving out is more than just goodbye! Make sure everything’s in order before you leave, read below for more information.
You’ll need to leave your room on the end date in your contract, unless an alternative agreement has been arranged with management.
Before you leave, make sure you’ve paid all your rent, fees and charges as outlined in your Agreement.
Our village team will inspect your room and flat within 7 days of your departure date. If there are any damages, replacements or cleaning required, these will be charged for and deducted from your deposit. We will be inspecting all shared kitchens prior to your departure.
The website for the return of your deposit is depositprotection.com. To claim your deposit back you will need your deposit ID and your repayment ID – these numbers will have been sent to you by the DPS when you moved.
Your room and flat must be left in the same state of cleanliness and repair as it was on your first day. We do take wear and tear into consideration, as well as any notice you submitted to us in accordance with the Village Rules.– if anything is damaged or missing, this will be charged for in accordance with the Village Rules
Make sure you return your room key and swipe card/fob on their original key tag when you leave, there is an administration charge for keys which are not returned or returned late.
